Rebecca Bell-Stanton joined Carpenter & Schumacher, P.C. in 2015 as a partner. Her practice focuses upon Civil Trial And Appellate Litigation, and she represents clients in high-exposure and high-profile disputes in federal and state courts nationwide, including complex litigation class action lawsuits.
Prior to joining Carpenter & Schumacher, P.C., Mrs. Bell-Stanton was a partner at Fee, Smith, Sharp & Vitullo, LLP where she acted as appellate and trial litigation counsel for clients in a broad range of catastrophic tort cases involving trucking, construction, products liability, deceptive trade practices, and premises liability matters. She also maintained a coordinated counsel relationship for national clients, appearing in multiple states to protect the corporate interests of such clients in catastrophic litigation.
Before attending law school, Mrs. Bell-Stanton taught high school in Midland, Texas. She was the competitive coach for Robert E. Lee High School in speech, debate, and oral interpretation, and she also taught government and speech communications. Post-law school, Mrs. Bell-Stanton continued her teaching by serving as a coach for multiple law school national moot court teams and high school mock trial teams.
Mrs. Bell-Stanton has authored and presented multiple articles for various state bar and insurance law seminars, including Whither Thou Goest Class Actions; Keep Truckin’ (Like the Do-dah Man) – The Current State of Affairs for Trucking Litigation; Oral Argument: Techniques that Work; The Art of Persuasion; Oral Communication: An Attorney’s View; Some Junk: An Analysis of Expert Testimony; The New Black Plague: Black Mold Fever is On the Rise; and Contractual Risk Transfer.
Mrs. Bell-Stanton and her husband, Cody, reside in Flower Mound, Texas. They enjoy traveling, including frequent trips to New York visit her daughter, Reanna.
