Mathew E. Mulkey, who has been with the firm since 2010, is an associate attorney at Carpenter & Schumacher, P.C. His practice mainly focuses on claims involving property damage subrogation and recovery. He successfully manages a high volume docket, overseeing each case from the pre-litigation stage until the case is settled. He has extensive experience in all phases of litigation including drafting, discovery, taking and defending depositions, and negotiating settlements with opposing counsel and opposing insurance carriers. Mr. Mulkey excels at evaluation and resolving claims as expeditiously as possible so as to obtain quick recoveries for his clients.

Upon graduation from law school in 2008, Mr. Mulkey worked as an associate attorney for Michael J. Scott, P.C., where he practiced in the civil litigation section and focused on collections. During law school, he was a member of the Texas Wesleyan's (now Texas A&M) Moot Court Honor Society, where he was named a finalist in the Upper Level Moot Court

Competition and his written brief was awarded 6th place overall.
Before attending law school, Mr. Mulkey worked for three years as a senior account representative at Clark Consulting, a benefits consulting firm in Dallas, Texas. He lives in Dallas with his wife and two children and spends his free time in his yard and as a weekend warrior. He volunteers his time as a board member of his neighborhood association and with his church.
